The current tariff applies to two full paying persons sharing a double en-suite room and includes full English breakfast. Family rooms sleeping three persons attract a flat rate charge but there are reductions for children under 12 years occupying a family room with two full paying persons.

 

Payment

Unfortunately, we cannot accept payment by credit or debit card.

 

Please make all cheques payable to “Holmleigh Guest House”.

 

Deposits

A deposit equivalent to the cost of the first night’s stay is required to secure the room. The booking will be held provisionally for three working days from the date of initial enquiry allowing ample time for receipt of deposits. Acknowledgments of deposits are made by return.

Balances

Payment of the balance is due on arrival by any of the following methods:

Sterling Cash, Sterling Travellers Cheques (No Change Given), Personal UK Cheques with Guarantee Card up to the limit of the card.

 

Duration of Stay
 
Bank Holiday weekends, major events and festivals are subject to a minimum of  2/3 night stays. One night bookings are subject to availability and are usually more readily available at shorter notice; please contact Holmleigh Guest House by phone to enquire.

Cancellation Policy

More than 7 days notice:  No Charge.

7 days notice or less: Deposit Payment in Full.

 

Curtailment of Stay - No Refunds Given.

 

“No Shows” will be charged the full deposit initially requested to secure the room.

 

Please note that two night bookings at weekends may not be curtailed to one night following confirmation of the reservation.  We reserve the right to cancel the booking and refund the deposit.

 

Check in Times

 

We are able to offer two main periods for checking in :

 

Morning Check in - between 10:00 & 12:00 hours . Please be advised that rooms may not be ready during this check in period but we are very happy to accept luggage, issue room keys and organise parking space.

 

Afternoon Check In - between 16:00 & 18:00 hours.

If you cannot check in at either of the above times, then special arrangements must be agreed at the time of booking. If no alternative arrangements have been with us for check in outside these times and you fail to check in the within normal check

 in times, your booking may be treated as a no show.

 

Checking Out

Please vacate rooms before 10am on day of departure.

 

Car Parking

One vehicle parking space is allowed for each room booking. Guests are reminded that vehicles are parked at owners’ risk and the car parking space is vacated upon check out.

 

 

SMOKING POLICY

Holmleigh Guest House is designated a totally non smoking establishment as such the business is governed by the current legislation on smoking in public places. There are no designated smoking areas within the guest house therefore guests who wish to smoke are requested to do so outside the building away from the public areas and to safely dispose of any smoking materials.

 

Please be advised that Holmleigh Guest House operates a zero tolerance approach and will curtail the stay of  any person or persons breaking the law by smoking in the premises with immediate effect,.
