Whether you are staying for the very first time or returning to Holmleigh we hope you will feel at home with us.
The majority of our guests return time after time or come to us recommended by word of mouth. The guest house has a homely feel as we aim for a more relaxed and informal atmosphere and is ideal for those seeking a more traditional B&B with the friendly personal touch. Come and go as you please but we are readily available should you require any assistance or advice regarding any aspect of your stay. Accommodation is flexible with double, twin and family room options available. |

Holmleigh is within walking distance of Whitby’s many varied tourist attractions and amenities.

Out & About
Getting out and about from Holmleigh is much easier than you would think! There are many opportunities to explore the National Park and Heritage Coast which won’t cost the earth (click on the link to read more).
Walkers, mountain bikers, bikers and all outdoor enthusiasts are particularly welcomed for we provide secure storage for sports equipment. Whitby Golf Club is situated approximately one mile away.
For those arriving by public transport there are bus stops literally outside the house on the main bus routes through town. The train and bus stations are approximately five hundred metres away in the town centre. They are served by frequent services operated by Arriva, National Express and the Yorkshire Coast Liner.

Eating In
A traditional full English Breakfast is served from 8.15 until 9 am in the ground floor dining room. Along with our substantial cooked breakfasts we serve unlimited refills of tea and coffee and rounds of toast and preserves.
Please advise us prior to arrival of any special dietary requirements. We will try our best to meet your needs.
