There is a wide selection of cereals, juice, yoghurt, grapefruit and fresh fruits to choose from followed by a full English breakfast guaranteed to set you up for the day, accompanied by unlimited rounds of toast and hot beverages.
For lighter appetites, smaller portions are available (choose form any combination of the English breakfast items).
Special diets can be catered for - please advise us either prior or upon arrival. |

Ample on site parking is provided for the benefit of guests arriving by private transport and is available for the duration of your stay with us. Please note there is very little free or on street parking available in town where public car parking charges are £6 per 24 hour period. |

Holmleigh is an Edwardian family house full of character having a wealth period features including the original fireplaces which remain the focal point of each room.
The guest accommodation is flexible and is arranged over three floors. Accessed by a wide staircase, all rooms are traditionally furnished in keeping with the style of the house and are equipped with en-suite facilities, televisions and hospitality trays. There is one ground floor double room off the entrance hallway and there are a further three double guest rooms on the first floor. The twin/double rooms located on the second floor each have one double and one single bed.
With the majority of our guests returning time after time or coming recommended by word of mouth, the guest house has a homely feel as we aim for a more relaxed and informal atmosphere. Feel free to come and go as you please but we are readily available should you require any assistance or advice regarding any aspect of your stay.
Traditional full English breakfasts are served in our dining room each morning between 8.15 am and 9am.

Although Holmleigh is within walking distance of Whitby’s varied tourist attractions and amenities there are ample opportunities to explore the National Park and Heritage Coast which won’t cost the earth.
We particularly encourage walkers, cyclists, bikers and outdoor sports enthusiasts to visit the area as we can provide secure storage for sport equipment such as bikes, golf clubs, surf boards etc. Click here for more details. |
